I've been home for almost a week now, and haven't posted because of some error with MovableType, which my dad kindly fixed for me. I had written an entry with a bunch of my goals that I hoped to get done while home. Some I've done, some I've added since then.
1. Buy Drew, Dad, and Kristen's Christmas presents.
2. Sewing projects: Drew's pajamas, mending stupid pillow, adding stripes to pants, and maybe Rosco boxers?
3. Continue selling and mailing off Amazon items.
4. Clean the bathroom and the kitchen.
5. Visit the high school.
6. Go to some yoga classes at the Y.
7. Watch a lot of CSI.
8. Redesign calapitter. REALLY, I mean it this time.
9. Hit the books and re-learn Financial Accounting so I'll be ready for Cost Accounting. :-\
Yesterday we bought the Christmas tree and decorated it with the ornaments. We also made new picture ornaments for me, Ty, and Rosco. I'll take pictures of them and put them up later. I think at least part of today will be dedicated to helping my mom wrap presents, and then when we run out of wrapping paper (which is sure to happen), head to Target and face the sea of humanity there to buy more paper.
What else have I been doing? Not a ton, I've been mailing off Amazon items.. I have nine to mail off tomorrow, making the current total 30. :) Oh, commerce. I also straightened up the laundry room, which had a bunch of jumbled laundry baskets in it. I think that's about it.
What I haven't been doing: working out at all, for like 2.5 weeks, which is bad. My poor fitness blog over there is suffering. I know I'm feeling bad about it because I dreamed last night that we were eating out and as I was giving my order (which was probably something relatively unhealthy), the waitress kind of sat down next to me and pinched some fat on my stomach and was like, "Oh no honey, you can't have that." It was awful. But this is my break and I'm trying to recover some of my energy, which is hard enough when I'm running back and forth to the post office, trying to get all my orders mailed off. I guess if I get enough sleep tonight, I can get up on the "early" side (around 9:00) and go to the morning yoga class tomorrow at the Y, maybe run a little afterwards.
