Winter Break, Part 2 (Return to High School).

Today has been busy, so I'm going to spend the rest of it relaxing, I think. This morning I got up around 7:30 so that I would be good and awake by the time I needed to leave for the morning Yoga class. (Also because Ty and Mom were talking, and I was sleeping kind of fitfully anyway because it was so hot in my room.) So I mailed the THIRTEEN Amazon orders that came in over the weekend, went to the Yoga class at the Y, did a bit on the treadmill, went home, showered, made myself presentable, and went to visit the high school. Apparently Mr Rideout et al reads the blog (unsure how that happened, but it's all right since I'm not going to say something on here that I won't say to a person's face, not that I usually have a bunch of bad things to say to people's faces anyway) (though it was kind of weird that like the second word out of Woodchuck's mouth to me was "Calapitter")--so, hey people. Mr Rideout also returned to me a bag of stuff that I left there: some blue cotton material with firetrucks on it, a sewing pattern for a shirt, a portable iron, and other sewing items (including black fuzzy puff-balls??).

I also said hello to Mr Leech, who said he went to Memphis recently to run the half marathon with his wife.. Gah, running 13 miles doesn't sound like a treat to me. Anyway. Being back in the classroom kind of reminded me of the last day of English III in high school; we had done chalk drawings on the board and I wanted to take pictures and remember them that way, but I didn't have my camera at school, and it all felt kind of melancholy. But just because you leave high school doesn't mean you can never go back.

*sigh* I am a loser.
