A big sigh of relief, for being done with finals. Yay! A quick recap.
Tuesday, I had my last HR test. I studied quite a bit for it, think it went well, though I had to make some stuff up and guess on a few minor issues.
Wednesday, I had the Cost Accounting final. I didn't study quite as much for that one, but feel good about it.
Also on Wednesday, I called Birnbaum to ask about my paper, and she told me that she had given me an A- on it. I was very surprised, because when she handed back the others' papers in class, she had remarked on how dreadful they were and how disappointing it was that Rhodes wasn't teaching students to write research papers, a skill they'd need in grad school. I told her how surprised I was, because of her speech, and that I thought it was too short. She agreed it was short, but that it did what she expected. Awesome. I just wish I could've gotten it back.
Thursday was a reading day, but I also went to the Econ review session.
Friday was the Econ test, I feel very good about that one. Beckham Gramm brought the baby when she handed out the exam, he was so cute.
Yesterday was the Finance exam. I was just so fed up with that class, I was happy to get it over with. The test went all right, I finished it in about 35 minutes. After that, I went to the bookstore to sell back my Finance book, and even though they're not using it next semester, they still gave me $40 for it. After that, I spent 4 or 5 hours on my feet packing up all the stuff to go to the storage unit, loaded it in the car, drove over there, and found that storage was closed for the day and wouldn't be open on Sunday either. So today I'm just sitting around, watching movies and relaxing. I'll probably watch Gangs of New York, Rain Man, and the Graduate. I have them on the Tivo, lovely.
Tomorrow I'll go over to the storage place, unload, come back here, load the car with the few things I am taking home (the bulk of my things is going to storage), and start driving. Then, in the evening, we'll go to the baseball game. Yay!
