[9:23am] My mom is so nice. This morning I went out to the kitchen to let Rosco out and there was a piece of newspaper set at my place with a big circle around a part of an article. My mom had put it there and written my name next to the circle. The article is called "Graduating with Honors." If you'd like to read the article in its entirety, go right ahead. Specially formatted so that it doesn't give ya so much crappin code. P.S. My mom circled from where it says "Ambuehl, in Granite City..." through "interpretation of the policy." I think she did this because I'm in band.

The thing is, I'm not going to be valedictorian. I'll be at least in the top 10%. Maybe top 5%. That'd be great. I just can't get straight As all throughout high school. I've already gotten 7 Bs. But if you think about it, that's very good, seeing that I've only been through 8 quarters. I've gotten straight As once, and like one B for every other report card to keep it from being straight As.

My freshman Bs were Physical Science, Drawing, Phys Science, and Govt. My sophomore Bs were Weight Training, Algebra II, and English II. Ah well. What's a girl to do?

[10:02am] Thumb up: It was hilarious, well-shot (film wise), and great music. Thumb sideways: The end. I won't reveal any more of that.

[9:47pm] Just saw Moulin Rouge. I give it one thumb up and one thumb side-ways. Tell you why tomorrow.

[2:22pm] Make a wish. It's 2:22. Also: Will invited me to go to a baseball game with him on the 4th of JUNE. When I tell people "Will invited me to go to a baseball game on the fourth", they say "July what?" Hopeless. Again.

[2:18pm] Did you hear that? Did you? Yes, that's JUNE!! No!! Hopeless. Halfway through this year already. Or nearly, anyway. I feel like I am wasting my summer. I've only had, what, A WEEK of summer. I feel like time is running out for summer. I really don't want to do band because it is unpleasant to learn new music. If that tells you something about me, um, yay for you. I really am freaking out that summer is only available for a limited time! I need to get outdoors, but you know what? The high is in the 60s today! Not warm enough. I want it to be hot hot hot, not rainy. I want to be able to go to the pool.

[7:30pm] And I used to fly like Peter Pan / All the children flew when I touched their hands.

[7:25pm] Do you remember that song that we used to sing in elementary school, something about peanut butter? It went "Peeeeanut, peanut butter.. and jelly!" Well, in a flash, the memory came to me. Eighth grade English class, Mr Fisher's face as Dawn D sang "Bilbo... Bilbo Baggins... and Gandolf!" Yeah!!

[5:08pm] In the sixth or eighth inning, Will told me "Let's go get some water." So I said, "Okay" and I went with him. Joe came with us. They both decided to go to the bathroom, and then Will asked where the water fountain was, and I pointed to it, but it was right there. Will said, "I knew that" and he got a drink. I asked "Is that it?" and Will said "No" and he got another drink. Then Joe laughed and asked if that was all and Will said "Oh, maybe one more" and we both laughed. Then we went back to our seats. I wondered why I went.

[5:03pm] The ballgame was really really fun. We lost, though. 7 - 0, but that's okay because my friends are the best people. Ashley saw this usher guy that looked like Justin Behlman, so she kept yelling, "Hey Justin!" to get his attention. It was so funny, and also she saw a cotton candy vender with bleach blonde hair, and she referred to him as Eminem. The seating was as follows: first row: [empty seat], Joe, Kris, Andy; second row: Amanda, Ashley, me, Will. Eventually Ashley talked to the usher, whose name turned out not to be Justin. His name was Aaron and he was 21. He didn't look 21, only 16 or 17. She got his autograph on her ball, along with Mike Bush and Christy the batboy. Kind of a weird name for a boy, but whatever. She (Ashley) signed it too.

[3:36pm] I've spent days on this, putting this together. So, without further ado, I present: *dramatic music* the Blog Chronicles. It's just there in case you want to read everything I've ever written on calapitter (excluding before May 25 00, which is like nothing there anyway.)

[9:00am] Today I go to the ballpark with 6 of my friends (Amanda, Ashley, Andrew, Joe, Will, and Kris) (dang, I have a lot of friends whose names start with A) (well) (3 anyway.) My mom is driving us but she's sitting in section 134 or something like that, while we're in 340. All of our tickets were free, because I got straight As first quarter and there's a program where you get 4 free tix if you get straight As. And then there were our fan appreciation tickets.. that's 4 more. Anyway. My mom's ticket cost us money, but oh well.

[12:54pm] Knock knock. Who's there? Cowgo. Cowgo who? No, owl go hoo. Cow go moo.

[9:22am] Crap. Cards are tied with Cubs for first in the division. Rrrrr. Down with the Cubs. *casts bad-luck voodoo spell*

[12:47pm] I'm up, I'm up. Today is the first day of summer. Yeah, I'm liking it. The weather is beautiful, but I'm quite tired. I was up until 6:30 am, but I slept til like noon, so I'll be okay. Maybe I'll take another nap sometime today. I don't think anyone is expecting much out of me today.

May 25, last day of school.
May 25, I can get my license.
May 29, baseball game with lotsa friends.
June 18, I leave for vacation. I don't know when I come back.
