First of all, thanks for the wonderful year. We could not have accomplished what we did without you. You were mostly supportive (and surprised us a few times with an encouraging word or two!) Even when the rookies were driving you nuts, the most you did was throw things at them. And you didn’t kill them, and I congratulate you on that.

Most of all, though, you always made things fun. Even the push-ups that I had to do for laughing at you when you made those squirrel noises when we were supposed to be at attention. The push-ups were worth it.

Oh, and I’d like to thank you for last year too, because you were a section leader last year too! You were super then, too. Shhh, don’t tell anyone but I thought you were a better section leader than Jeffro, even if he was nicer to me than you were, back then. You did have more of a temper, and much more of a tendency to call Shawn gay, but that’s okay. I think he enjoyed it.
