[10:20pm] I had bad news and I have fun news. The fun news is that I took the 100 Acres Personality Test and I am Kanga. The sad news is that Shawn W ("my favorite rookie") has meningitis. They don't know yet if it's bacterial or viral but everyone's hoping for viral because it's much less contagious than bacterial. We'll find out this morning. I'll tell you the rest of the story some other time. I will.

[6:38pm] I'm on dinner break from the lock-in. I've been at school since 9 this morning and I'll be at school until noon tomorrow morning. Goodness gracious (I forget how to spell, if that's right, cool!) Anyway. My left arm hurt yesterday but not anymore. It'll hurt tomorrow morning after I've slept on it for a few hours. Okay. Kris will be here in a couple minutes so I need to do a few more things. Ciao!

[10:10am] I watched Pride and Prejudice with my mom yesterday. Great fun! Also yesterday, I defragmented my computer. Poor puter.

[9:25pm] I hate mean people. I just played a game of Literati with this guy Pigpen56 and he ended up beating me really bad and that's okay but at the end he made a really mean remark resembling this: "You are a really $#!++^ player, merry Christmas scrub." What a jerkface!
[5:05pm] Cool! We just opened 2 presents and I got a Boston Terrier t-shirt and some dog pajamas.
[3:21pm] Working working working. In a few hours we open a few presents. Wheee! I love the word 'few.'
[1:03pm] Haha, cool. I'm part of the mirror project. Neato! Happy Christmas Eve! Or Merry, whichever you prefer. And if you're not a Christmas celebrater, then.. whatever you celebrate.

[9:43pm] Okay. Time to go to bed. It's late and this is very very temporary. Lolly lolly lolly get your adverbs here. I'm tired of watching the news.. boring.
[5:52pm] It's not really lime. It's bright, but it's not lime. It's fun green. I left at 5:30, and the tarp was almost done. The frames are a darker green, and most of them are done, too. I'm too tired to write more and my head is floating from paint fumes and my fingers are blistered from rollers.
[9:53am] Today at 1:00 I go to the school and stay until the tarp and frames are totally painted. Goodness. I hope the floor isn't so ugly.. They're suggesting lime green. I object! P.S. Today is my brother's 3/4 birthday.

[9:56pm] I felt that I didn't explain that image very well. So here goes. First through seven scenes: B=me, R=Ronnie, S=Shawn. We're color-coded according to our practice flag colors. Or something like that. Green stripes are mirrors. Then on the eighth scene: Anne comes in, she's yellow. I get in front of her and go through her little frame-mirror thing. Ab=Abby, L=Lindsey, K=Kate, C=Courtney, and the rest you know! It's cool. The big number in the bottom right is total number of counts, more or less, taken in these sets.
[6:31pm] I have a solo!

[12:37pm] And I know I promised a redesign soon, and I am working on it, but winterguard is sort of hard. So.. blergh to you until then. Maybe I'll make a temporary one.
[12:35pm] On lunch break. I just need to keep my brain cranking and I'll get this down great. We have all but like 35 counts of the first movement done. I have the counts running through my head: 14, 17, 9, 12, 16, 20.. Great fun. P.S. I get like a little trio going on. Fun fun!

[9:21pm] Okay, I'm back. I'm kinda guilty for not being at dance practice right now like everyone else is, but I'm really tired and there's only 40 minutes left and everyone would be crabbin at me for coming for only a little while. And I don't wanna deal with it so I won't. Oh, Robby's in the Navy. Not the Marines. He was in Okinawa for 2 years but now he's here.
[3:26pm] My cousin Robby is sick and he's in the Marines, I think, but they're sending him home. And on his way home, he's stopping at Scott Airforce Base, which is in St Louis, so instead of going to 6-10 dance practice (which I really need cuz I can dance, but am dreading for the same reason) we are going to see him. I'm really disappointed and scared that I'm missing the dance practice and I won't know the stuff I'm supposed to know, but I understand that family is more important. Also Kris can teach me stuff.

[8:42pm] Oh goodness that makes me so sad. I'm watching Millionaire and the woman who is in the hot seat brought her sister with her. The sister is kind of chubby and she has big thick glasses and a short brownish-gray haircut. Guess her name. Mousey. Oh. That's just so awfully sad.
[8:30pm] I got some of the pictures up. Ashley laughed when she saw these because she says the one on the right looks like he's smoking.

ahhh so cute drug dog

[6:30pm] Just home from guard practice. Erin and Lori said today that we're at a better level at this time than we were last year. I wasn't on it last year, but that's saying a lot because last year ROCKED. Plus we're doing these things called Peggy spins and they're sooo hard and I just can't get them. They're like double time but on crack. I don't know. I can get them with my right hand but not the left. But I have much trouble with that sinister left hand. What more? Uhh.. they said they were so happy that we could all do 45s, and that not one guard in Scholastic B could say that at this point except for us. And that they were thinking of moving us to Scholastic A. A is for AHHHHHH difficulty!! But whatever. I'm proud of myself. Tomorrow's practice is 6-10. Saturday is 9-9. And Sunday we paint the tarp so it'll be 1pm-whenever we're done. Oh btw, I took like a billion pictures while out and about recently. My dad's coming home tonight and if he doesn't mind showing how to upload them to my computer, you'll have cool stuff to look at soon!

[8:06pm] She certainly brought those scores. I scored #1 out of anyone in my school who took it this year: 1310. Also she brought the magic pens and mine said that I should be an aircraft pilot, engineer, lawyer, or corporate executive. Mmm. Such touchy-feely warm-hearted jobs. I'm glad I get that whole "I care about people" thing.

[7:52pm] Tomorrow Mrs Speck comes into my English class and brings her "magic markers." The magic markers recommend our future jobs. Also she'll bring our PSAT scores! SCORE!

[12:08pm] Something I meant to write. Last night around 11:00 I heard noise outside my window. I looked out the window and there was a cark parked there by my driveway. They were just sitting there, and coughing a lot. I turned off my light and went back to look at them. They sat there coughing only a moment more and then left. Pretty weird.
[12:02pm] No bruise yet. In 2 hours I must be at school to be in a band concert. I guess. Mr Wisdom never really specified a time, except for jazz banders. And I'm not in jazz band. So whatever. I'm redesigning calapitter. Trying to do a massive overhaul. Something that I really shouldn't be attempting, because I've got a busy week ahead, but I want to put EVERYTHING together. It'll be massive. And awesome. But this week.. Monday afternoon: free; Tuesday: 3-5 winterguard; Wednesday: 2:45 dermatologist, Thursday: 3-6 weapons; Friday: 6-10 dance and movement; Saturday: 9-9 blocking drill for guard. And that's not even counting academics! Goodness.

[12:05pm] Yesterday was my 3/4 birthday. Yay! This morning I got my bloodwork done and my arm hurts. There will be a bruise there for sure. My nose has stopped throbbing and only hurts when you touch it hard. I finished and turned in my state report, and my Panama report (rough draft, done) is due Monday. I have an oral report (5-7 minutes) to do on Tuesday about why Mr Carranza should move his theoretic Doc Deere lawnmower store to South Dakota. I should just go up there and say "Don't move it there. There's no grass, so don't bother." And then I'd be done. Except I'd be lying. There's much grass. I just don't care to talk any more about the most exciting state in the nation! *standing in puddle of sarcasm* Oh, by the way. I wrote a poem.

121301
[5:06pm] I have 4 pages on my Panama report, so I'm doing well. I dropped my flag on my face at about 3:40 and my nose is still throbbing a bit. I wonder if I broke it. It's not turning purple or anything. It's just hurting.
[3:54pm] My state report is due tomorrow. 41 pages on South Dakota: done. Yes!! But I still have to write a rough draft of my Panama report (due Monday, 5-7 double spaced), and begin to prepare an oral report (talk for seven minutes with a visual aid) for Tuesday. I wrote a poem last night in my crazed semi-insomnia. Later, show you and tell you how weird.

[8:10pm] Uhh.. a CENSORED picture of my hair and me.

120801
[9:02pm] Yesterday I got my hair cut short and I even have a few bangs. This morning I took the ACT and I think I bombed the science section but aced the other parts. I don't know. I'm tired.

120601
[7:52pm] And for the essay it was "Describe the one person who has affected you most in your life and describe the effect(s) they've made." I chose my mom. I'm going to ask Mr Leech (my English teacher and essay reader/grader) to go over it and see if there can be any more improvements.
[7:26pm] For OWL I have to fill out a college application. There's a short answer section that asks which of extracurricular activities have impacted me the most and describe the effects it has has. So I wrote about marching band.

120301
[3:19pm] Things to do: Homework and I HAVE A LOT OF IT, tell calapitter readers about how Jenn and Anni P were kinda mean today. Or maybe how I'm just overly sensitive to teasing when they were so nice and supportive before. Then at 5:30, go to school again to march in the parade. Blargh. I don't know when I'll be back. I live a busy life.

120201
[7:11pm] I know no other reason to post this than to embarrass Bailey. Unfortunately, Bailey doesn't seem too embarrassed. So my plot has been foiled.

120101
[8:27pm] I saw Amelie today. It is one of my favorites now.
[8:16pm] My mom told me a story today. She went jogging this morning on what is also a bike path. There was a man biking and he had one of those mini-kid-tents that you hook to the back of the bike. And the man's son was in the kid-tent. And just as the kid and dad were passing, my mom heard the little kid say "Daddy, we can't touch the sky, can we? It's THIRTY high!"
[12:14pm] Robbie's girlfriend Jenn took a day off school yesterday. At lunch:
Bert: I've discovered something.
Me: Yeah?
Bert: Every day when lunch is over, and I get up, I notice my butt is sore.
Me: Uhh..
Bert: I think that this means that I need more butt-padding.
Me: Shut up! I hate you.
Bert: I'll take some of yours, if you want.
Me: *angry gasp* *kick his shins under the table* You can't have any of mine. I like my butt.
Bert: Yeah. You've got a nice butt.

[7:31pm] Wow. December. Anyway, I noticed a kind of surge of hits when I write and a non-surge of hits when I don't. Hits or not, writing or not, I'm trying to come up with a new layout. I like this one, but I want something different. As usual.
