[9:58pm] Wow. I really have to get back into the swing of things around here. But I spent this holiday weekend, not relaxing--no.. but
rather painted two bathrooms. See?

[8:41pm] Well, Kristen abandoned me to go to that guy's house, even after my offer to pay for a movie. So I'm just kind of chillin' at
home. Not with my friend. My ONE FRIEND!! *SOBS* Maybe I'll redesign calapitter. Not that it needs it or anything--Olivia's dad has got
it goin' on. But I have a lot of cute things maybe floating around, and nothing to do tonight.
[9:30am] Last night Kristen and I went to McDonalds and I got a chocolate milkshake (myyy milkshake brings all the boys to the yard
and they're like, it's better than yours... i could teach you but i'd have to charge) but Byll, this guy from high school who
is a manager there, gave us an extra set of fries. My milkshake tasted like strawberry banana chocolate, which wasn't bad, especially
when combined with the saltiness of the french fries. After that, we ran through Target (for no reason) but got in trouble as we jogged
out the door. The security guy was new and didn't know Kristen had worked there for 2 years (but he'll know soon) and he stopped us and
talked about how we could fall down. Not about possible shoplifting, which I thought he would yell at us for, but he seemed unconcerned
about that. At any rate, he was annoying, we weren't shoplifting, and we have a little bit of grace that keeps us from falling down.
Onto Blockbuster, where we rented Texas Chainsaw Massacre. (Don't make me bring out Leatherface).. Uh,
doctor's appointment. More later.

[9:30pm] No, I haven't been neglecting you. A lot of things have happened. Some major life events. Well, maybe just one of those..
Anyway, I finished exams and ended up with good grades (As in Spanish, Search, and Poetry; B- in Polisci and Calc). Then I went to
Florida with Dan and Sara and Drew and it was good times. We all got sunburned on the first day, recuperated, went out again, got more
sunburned, recuperated, watched some Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? and Dr. Phil and Simpsons, went out to dinner
at Amici's, played some Uno, and had my one major life event. Now I'm back and I got my job at Ameren and it rocks so so much. Today
was my first day. Ashley and I spent our day learning the ropes with Mike, while our real supervisor kind of ignored us. We did a mail
run, and did lots of address-change thingies, and did some other stuff.. whatev, it's easy and awesome. I get my own desk and my own
computer. Bonus and score. And haha to the rest of you who are stuck at Wendy's.

[9:13am] Well, the past couple of days have been insane. I came back to Rhodes on Saturday the 1st, spent Sunday and Monday morning (when
I took my Polisci exam and got at least a B on it) at Rhodes, then returned to St Louis for my Bath & Body Works interview at 6:00 Monday,
did that pretty well, returned on Tuesday and hung out with my lovely boyfriend Drewbie-Bear (aww) while doing homework (I studied Calc
and wrote a poetry paper) and then on Wednesday, I studied really hard for Calc and took the exam and probably only got a weak C. Which
is sad. But C is for Calculus. After that, I struggled really hard to write two new poems, which I couldn't in an hour, so I turned in
some old ones and then we (Matt, Zach, Drew, Mark, me, Deb, Carolyn, and Laura) went to Outback and I had LOBSTER TAILS! It was
the best thing. Then I sat around with Drew, thinking how I should study Search (seeing as how Subi -- my dearest Suvarna -- is making
these grand outlines for us) (and we're having this huge study session tonight and I want to know what they're talking about, but probably
won't, since I haven't read.) (But before I read,) I'm going to dust-bust this room. It really needs it. You can't walk in here with bare
feet and not go "eww" at some point. I went on a cleaning rampage last night around 1:30 or 2:00. Carolyn had already had her
cleaning binge, and I didn't want to sleep, and felt I had no reason to do so, so I cleaned our air vents, which was crazy since now
all the dust has been stirred up and it's out of control. And we can't breathe. Well, I certainly can't. But dust-busting MUST
happen. Things that also must happen: Search reading/studying, Spanish studying, help Drew clean his room (he really needs it),
laundry (lots of it), clean out the fridge, take the Search and Spanish finals on Saturday, pack, take down the Wall of Truth before
tomorrow.. not in that order, of course. In any case, that's all I have for today: interesting news it's not, but news indeed. OH!
And for all of you who crossed your fingers, I LOVE YOU! I got my job at Ameren and I'm making some good money. This is most
excellent. Which reminds me, other thing that must happen: contact Linda from Ameren to see about my pre-employment drug test.
