[9:21pm] ROCK ON!! To the boys of Jelly Donut: Rock on. Stand up, unite. To Will: Rock on. I don't know what to say but keep rocking on with your woman. To the boys of First Light: Rock on. But, we must get these technical issues behind us. You're too classy for that. ;) To the boys of Donut Factory: Sorry, I had to be home by nine. Rock on.
[3:49pm] Today is The Bash at my school. I think I'm getting to go "backstage" with mah boys, so that will provide for many nice photo ops. Whee! I'm excited and happy. You'll see.

[4:57pm] I got a weird, but very nice compliment today: Nicki N walks in la clase de espaņol and says to me, "You are just the right color. The right mix between dark and light." I, astounded and somewhat confused, say.. "Um, thank you." And we go back to Spanish.

[5:04pm] Trips to Walmart with Kelly are always fun. "I think I have a bladder infection." "Do you need me to pull over?" "No, I just felt like sharing." "I see." And much prettier, happier, funnier things, wheeee! Cartboy Jason loves me.

[12:24pm] Calculus test retake: 25/28. Maybe one more retake (Monday, after school.) And I took the ACT again this morning and it was a very very difficult version. We'll see. Last night: Kelly's surprise secret sweet 16th birthday party. It rocked, for the 15 minutes I was there. (My present to her: a zebra-skin printed scrapbook, with all sorts of stickers. Marching band ones, too!)

[6:10am] A quick retest (and maybe didn't catch that many points the second time, either) after school. And a trip to Jack in the Box with Ty, Kris, Shawn, Lauren, Marika, Kelly, Anne, Chris C, Rob, and little Rog (not Weeb, the other one.) Learning German words is fun: schlupwinkel (hiding-place.) It's fun as a noun or you can use it as a threatening verb, "Stay out of my schlupwinkel or I will schlupwinkel you to death!!" See?

102302
[8:57pm] Much sweating (Calculus) results in an 82%, so a retake is in order, for tomorrow afternoon. Also tomorrow: Spanish test. No sweat whatsoever.

[8:45pm] Yeah, geography was never my strong suit:

Becky: Wow.. Dayton would be so much fun, Florida is always nice in spring..
Kels: You guys are all aware that Dayton is in OHIO, yes?
Kels: Or was Florida the other plan?
Becky: Wait.
Kels: HAHAHAHAAAAAAAHAAAAA!!!
Becky: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Becky: Oh my God, I wet my pants.
Kels: That was the funniest thing ever
Kels: I was literally just on the floor laughing.
Becky: Give me my last rites, I'm dying..
Kels: Ahahahahaha!!!
Becky: You so totally know that's going on calapitter.
Kels: Totally.

[9:24pm] Tomorrow: English test (no sweat), Calculus test (much sweat.)

[10:25pm] Okay, now that the most stressful week (last real week of band, last week before the quarter ended) of this month is over, I can post more. And there will be a new layout vry vry soon. I know I've been saying that since early September, but this time I mean it. It's ready to go, but needs tweaking. BTW, 8th at the Dome (out of 12.) Didn't even get the drum major stand for selling the most tickets in our division (like the last three years.) So except for football games and a few parades, my marching band career is over.

[8:38pm] I would just like to comment on this layout. This picture is NOT me. I am not a boy. I am a girl. This picture is of my friend Joey, whom I have known since about 8th grade. He and I are currently ruling as Grammar King and Queen of the United States of America. Bet you thought this was a democracy, too. Wrong-o! Dictatorship, dude.

101202
[6:20am] 4th place. No drum major caption. (What??) Today is BOA.

[6:12am] Happy Birthday Dad! I think it was two years ago that I went with him to see Pearl Jam on his birthday. Yesterday: Chris C and I went to the mall for shopping (Dad & spirit) and it was fun. We came out of that mall smelling very good. Onto Burger King, where Ronnie and Anne awaited us and Joey and Shawn and Jim and Rob (?!?!?) (I guess he decided to NOT disown us for once) joined us shortly. Onto practice, which sucked a lot because I was getting tired and when I get tired, I have mood swings. Up n down up n down. And I still didn't get enough sleep and I won't tonight either. (Band competition, won't get back til 11:45ish.) Or tomorrow night (BOA, won't get back til like 10:45ishishish. I dunno bout that one.) Sunday night. Sleepie time, but I still gotta get up and go to school. So, in conclusion, sleep is good, but band is time-consuming.

[6:35am] A trip to Burger King with friends after a half day is marvelous.

[6:33pm] Honestly. That'll teach me to let people in line in front of me. I let this car in front of me before pulling out of school -- I swear. I sat there like 10 MINUTES!! You're thinking "Wow. Impatient much?" And my reply is "Yes."

[6:20am] Just so you know, I'm working on a layout that features my friend Joey. If this layout were any hotter, I'd have to wear sunscreen because it's just that hot. I mean, man oh man, wait til you see it.

100802
[8:45pm] Joey lent me Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, and it's awesome. A little too much gratuitous violence and shoutin, but nevertheless, cool.

100702
[8:14pm] Cute stuff.

Kelly: I took the English part of the ACT prep-type test online and got a 100% on it.
Becky: Holy poop. Give me a fat five. *fatfive*
Kelly: *fat5*
Becky: When I took it last December, I got a 35 on the English section.
Kelly: Wammo! That's awesome
Becky: You'll do just as well, because you are the newly-appointed Grammar Queen Jr.
Becky: And when I graduate, I bequeath the position entirely to you.
Kelly: Woo! Fun.
Becky: And you get to bequeath it and so on.
Kelly: Rock! Then I'll get to use a cool word like "bequeath."
Becky: I'm so glad you're my friend.
Kelly: Ditto times five.
Becky: 95% of the population would make fun of me for saying "bequeath."
Kelly: Yeah, the STUPID 95%!
Becky: And 3% of the nonstupid 5% just look at me funnily.
Becky: And another 1% start flapping up and down like a chicken monkey..
Becky: And then there's you.
Kelly: I'm pretty close to the chicken monkey thing though.
Becky: lolololol; again, I'm so glad you're my friend!

[9:03pm] For the hottest three pictures in the land.

100502
[7:53pm] My Saturday consisted of getting some bloodwork done (ouchiez, bruisey arm), going to the band competition at Washington (getting 5th place, a nasty nick on my wrist from a wall, Joey getting a similar -- but much nastier -- nick on his forearm, me fixing him up with bandages, tying a sombrero to my pants, having Scott throw M&Ms at me, much glittery makeup with Kris, and oh yes, much MUCH more.) Tonight: Wes's BBQ. Wheee!!

100402
[9:00pm] My Friday consisted of school: boring.. tiring.. blehhhagjkaljgkalgfa. Then I went home and sat. After that, a trip to Walmart: unsuccessful in my search for a spirit gift. Oh well.

100102
[6:38pm] I went over to Jake's to help him study for English because he's not doing very well in that class (I could see why, once we started to go over the stuff.) After a while, infinitive phrases and gerunds started to untangle and reveal themselves from the complicated mass of crap that is the English language. I even made Jake a study guide with guidelines for participial phrases, gerund phrases, and infinitive phrases (with reviews over what the questions were for adjectives, adverbs, etc.) Jake was very grateful and I was very self-congratulatory.. "I am SUCH a stud."
